First-Time Administrators Academy
ESC-17’s  First-Time Administrator Academy is a 4-session series designed for principals and assistant principals with less than three years’ experience. Principals and assistant principals who attend will receive professional development hours that can be counted toward fulfillment of new principal induction requirements as specified in TAC 241.25. FTAA allows participants to form collaborative relationships with other new administrators and to learn campus leadership skills.   Admission to FTAA is included with the Principals Academy contract, and contract holders may attend both Principals Academy and First-Time Administrators Academy.  For more information about FTAA, contact Janet Thornton.
